Using the free Celestron SkyPortal app for iOS Android, users are able to explore the universe and control the Evolution 6 with a smartphone or tablet. The telescope comes with a computerised GoTo mount with high performance worm gears and motors for improved tracking accuracy, along with reduced gear backlash. It's powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery with enough power for 10 hours of continuous observing.
