This small battery is a space and weight saver unit but runs for long hours. It has an SMBUS communication system for compatibility with equipment that uses SMBUS, such as RED cameras. This SMBUS system is intelligent software that helps users see the battery percentage on the attached camera to prevent the battery from draining out. The Hawk Woods Lithium Ion Battery has built in auto reset PCM so when it shuts down and enters the protection mode, the users do not have to attach it to a charger. This makes the V Lok Data Battery ideal for outdoor locations where a charger may not be accessible. The Hawk Woods Battery has a 98Wh wattage, making it safe to be carried on flights.
