The ND64 solid neutral density 1.8 filter is an ND filter with a 64x filter factor that provides a 6 stop exposure reduction. An included Kase magnetic lens adapter ring allows the filter to be used on a lens with 77mm front filter threads. The filter's 1.8 density creates a darkening of an entire image without affecting the image's coloration, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily.
