This full frame compatible lens is built up of 16 elements in 10 groups with a 7 blade aperture to include 2 aspherical and 3 extra low dispersion elements. These specific elements control both spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness and reduced colour fringing. This 12mm lens features an efficient manual focus design with a floating optical system reliably accurate rendering throughout full focus range 18cm infinity. It's also highly durable, with a Frog Eye Coating to repel dust and moisture from the front of the lens. A built in petal shaped lens hood further reduces flare and ghosting when dealing with intense lighting conditions. This lens is best suited for astro, landscape and architectural photography.
