There are 7 moving groups, including two dedicated focusing elements that are driven by linear stepping motors and this provides smooth and fast focusing and zooming throughout the focal range. Additionally, the lens features a strong optical image stabilisation system that compensates for up to 3.5 stops of camera shake.
