The HiLite background range from Manfrotto allows the photographer to work in a way that has previously been really difficult. By rear lighting the white background you do not need to use a background light behind the subject, and because the background itself can be illuminated it means the subject can stand virtually right in front of it without casting a shadow. The HiLite backgrounds also work as a large rear softbox, illuminating the subject as well, so you only need one other flash head to light the subject from the front. Additionally, the whole product is collapsible. The Manfrotto HiLite 8x7 foot background allows larger subjects to be photographed and the addition of the optional train means full length portrait and product shots can be taken both in the studio and on location.
